Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance software using .NET technologies for real-time power grid automation systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain back-end microservices architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote Clean Code, SOLID, performance, stability, and secure design practices.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues identified during end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA engineers, and global technology teams to deliver projects successfully.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear technical designs and support system integration, simulators, or lab environments.
  • Develop and optimize systems involving low-latency processing, time-aligned time-series data, and critical infrastructure reliability.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in senior technical roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, and REST Web Services.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing, testing frameworks, code reviews, performance profiling, optimization, and low-latency systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, MSBuild, Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, and SQL databases.
  • Understanding of API development and consumption, software architecture, secure and scalable system design, and non-functional requirements.
  • Practical knowledge of Kafka and C++ is a plus.
  • Experience with power grid management and monitoring, WAMS/WAMPAC, PMU data, protection and control applications, and power grid operations.
  • Experience with industrial automation systems such as SCADA, IED, and RTU is a plus.
  • Experience with IEC 61850, IEC-60870-5-104, DNP3, OPC UA, and IEEE C37.118 is a plus.
  • Understanding of numerical methods, signal processing, control fundamentals, power system dynamics, and renewable-energy stability challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, English-language, and continuous-learning skills.
