Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated frontend, backend, and API test suites using Cypress, Playwright, and Postman.
- Help create reusable automation frameworks supporting functional and non-functional testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates and reliable release workflows.
- Drive test-first development across unit, integration, performance, and other testing practices.
- Develop QA tooling and processes for test management, performance testing, frontend testing, test environments, test data, parallel execution, and flaky-test reduction.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams on acceptance criteria, edge cases, code reviews, production issues, and technical improvements.
- Support build pipelines, observability, deployment automation, software quality standards, compliance, and production-system technical ownership.
- Share quality practices across teams and mentor junior team members in a global, distributed environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA or software testing, with strong test automation experience.
- Experience testing modern web applications built with React, TypeScript, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with frontend and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Experience writing automated API tests and validating backend behavior using tools such as Postman or Cypress.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Experience with Agile development practices, including story estimation, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Experience working in distributed or remote teams with Jira, GitHub, Miro, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with test case management tools and practices and a solid understanding of performance optimization.
- Fluency in English and Spanish with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of secure development practices and compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, GDPR, and SOC2 is preferred.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing tools, global multicultural organizations, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture is preferred.
