Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for core products and platforms.
- Develop event-driven systems using Go and Kafka.
- Build scalable microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Drive architecture decisions that improve performance, resiliency, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Own services in production by monitoring, debugging, and continuously improving performance and reliability.
- Write automated tests and follow CI/CD best practices for high-quality deployments.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.
Requirements
- At least five years of backend development experience in Go or a similar language.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-based communication.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid understanding of observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and drive resolution.
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Redis or other in-memory data stores is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Familiarity with ClickHouse, Postgres, or other analytical, OLAP, or OLTP databases is preferred.
- Background in gaming, payments, commerce systems, adtech, offer monetization, internal platforms, or developer-facing tools is preferred.
