Base Salary
$132k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and/or lead support software tool development in a DevSecOps pipeline.
- Lead or participate in process improvements, trade studies, and solution analysis.
- Develop and/or lead software requirements and designs within an Agile framework.
- Perform and/or lead software verification within an Agile framework.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and software planning, estimating, and tracking.
- Potentially serve as an Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, or Development Team member.
- Apply multidisciplinary engineering and leadership skills to engine control and diagnostic systems and software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 10 years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree and 7 years of prior engineering experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required; an active DoD Secret clearance is required after day one.
- Preferred experience includes delivering DevSecOps or automation solutions and working in a dynamic, high-pressure engineering environment.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or embedded-code language is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include MATLAB/Simulink, cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, Agile software development, and safety-critical software development experience.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO-178B and familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design are preferred.
- Strong technical results, cross-disciplinary communication, and leadership capabilities are preferred.
