Responsibilities
- Advise clients and deliver solutions for data management and transformation.
- Participate in agile development and application implementation using engineering best practices.
- Challenge client assumptions and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Contribute to requests for proposals and presales activities.
- Participate in Data and AI R&D, technology monitoring, and the development of good practices.
- Mentor colleagues and support knowledge sharing and career development.
- Contribute to responsible digital initiatives including Green AI, Green Data, and AI4Green.
Requirements
- Significant experience with SQL and Python, which together represent approximately 50% of the work.
- Experience with Dataiku and/or Alteryx, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Knowledge of the data value chain, including data ingestion, manipulation, and production deployment.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure, including services such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Data Factory.
- Knowledge of modern data-platform storage formats including Parquet, Avro, Iceberg, Hudi, and Delta.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Cloud Composer is a plus.
- Experience with Hadoop distributions such as MapR or Cloudera and HDFS is a plus.
- Experience designing APIs for data exchange is a plus.
- GenAI knowledge, such as developing an agent or chatbot, is a plus.
- Good spoken and written English.
