Responsibilities
- Develop deep learning and classical machine learning approaches to generate accurate electric networks from imperfect data.
- Develop and optimize training pipelines to reduce operational toil and shorten idea-to-evaluation time.
- Scale model serving for different problems and reduce the time required to move models into production.
- Improve model QA speed and identify data and distribution drift.
- Work with LiDAR, aerial photography, photogrammetry, GIS, and vector data while building scalable data pipelines for training and serving.
- Define ML strategies, evaluate new techniques, and work across the full ML lifecycle from data collection through monitoring.
- Mentor other engineers in model training and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning and deep learning.
- Strong software engineering foundation.
- Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong problem-solving ability for new and ill-defined domains.
- Ability to work asynchronously and cross-functionally.
- Ability to own problems and proactively approach challenges.
