Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, evaluate, deploy, and monitor AI/ML products, pipelines, and services.
- Build reliable, maintainable, scalable AI/ML systems using Python, ML frameworks, AWS, and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop and maintain real-time and batch data engineering pipelines with Airflow, SQL, BigQuery, and Kafka.
- Create automated evaluation and monitoring systems to track performance, detect drift, and ensure quality.
- Implement and optimize production ML models for ranking, relevance, and retrieval using embeddings, transformers, and LLMs.
- Measure and optimize third-party models and manage model versioning, deployment, and CI/CD integration.
- Contribute to ML platform capabilities and lead the design, scoping, and delivery of key feature slices.
Requirements
- Commercial production experience in machine learning, ML engineering, MLOps, software engineering, and LLMs.
- Knowledge of machine learning training, evaluation, inference, and observability across structured and unstructured data, including image and text.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant ML technologies, with the ability to create high-quality maintainable software.
- Ability to select appropriate machine learning approaches and tools for commercial applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to independently and collaboratively lead feature design, scoping, and delivery to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
- Motivation to learn, mentor others, improve practices, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
