Responsibilities
- Design and develop Android mobile applications using Android Studio, Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Gradle.
- Manage the Android mobile application release cycle on Google Play.
- Convert UI/UX requirements and mockups into functional, high-performance Android applications.
- Independently develop and implement software for e-commerce applications with minimal oversight.
- Influence decisions about tools, conventions, design patterns, standards, and technology changes.
- Write self-documenting code and communicate implementation intent through comments, specifications, documentation, and code reviews.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, prevent regressions, and correct bugs or design issues.
- Collaborate with QA to establish testing tasks, approaches, and standards.
- Solve mobile-centric technical challenges involving synchronization, asynchronous APIs, and offline device capabilities.
Requirements
- High proficiency in at least one of Java or Kotlin.
- Experience delivering React Native applications.
- Experience consuming REST and SOAP web services and parsing JSON and XML using Java and Kotlin.
- Good understanding of object-oriented software design patterns and debugging.
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Strong attention to software engineering fundamentals, testing methodologies, and quality.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and explore new ideas.
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
