Responsibilities
- Design test plans and test cases for performance, load, and scalability testing of Nutanix Data Hub products.
- Define automation plans and test strategies within release timelines.
- Own end-to-end product quality, including testing, automation, and feature delivery at scale.
- Improve automated tests and overall test execution efficiency.
- Debug product issues with development engineers, file and track bugs to closure, and provide feedback to improve the product experience.
- Maintain a high quality index for products and features.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in QA/system testing and automation, with Python preferred.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux system interactions and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of software platform performance, load, and scalability, including Kubernetes platform performance.
- Experience developing Python API test frameworks.
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with Git, build management tools, and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Testing experience with monitoring or cloud products is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and effective in verbal and written communication.
