Base Salary
$143k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering efforts for scalable cloud-native infrastructure and reusable tooling.
- Drive software design, testing, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and incident response for distributed systems.
- Architect intelligent software solutions and integrate AI/ML capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple engineering teams.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
- Design agentic workflows that call internal MCP tools and Java/Spring Boot microservices with authentication and guardrails.
- Promote engineering standards, knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 5 years of software engineering experience, or 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or a related field plus 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Extensive platform engineering leadership experience delivering scalable infrastructure and reusable tooling.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems with high availability and fault tolerance.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ for AI/ML-integrated intelligent software systems.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Experience designing, extending, or operating MCP servers for agentic and LLM-based systems.
- Experience building or integrating super-agent systems involving orchestration, tool-calling, and prompt or skill design.
- Ability to provide technical mentorship and influence architecture across multiple teams.
