Responsibilities
- Build Kora’s highly available, reliable, secure, scalable, and multi-tenant compute layer.
- Drive technical solutions end to end, including design, architecture, and development.
- Deliver complex production projects with a focus on quality and customer success.
- Identify root causes and solve challenging distributed-systems and infrastructure problems.
- Collaborate with the team and key stakeholders on solutions for performance, reliability, resource management, and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure or cloud networking experience.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed-systems design and development.
- Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the cloud.
- Solid understanding of disk, networking, operating systems, and other basic systems operations.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, C, C++, Go, or another statically typed language.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
