Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver AI-powered agents integrated into HR and Financial workflows.
- Implement tooling strategies and contribute to production-grade AI solutions at global scale.
- Own multiple platform functional areas from development through production operation.
- Apply modern software development, cloud, distributed-systems, observability, and automated-testing practices.
- Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and contribute to an inclusive, continuously improving team culture.
- Translate complex problems into clear solutions while collaborating with technical and non-technical partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with a web development framework.
- 2+ years of experience with a relational database, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with modern distributed-systems architecture and tradeoffs.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability practices.
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environments.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with ambiguity.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of $140,000 - $210,000 CAD for the Vancouver primary location and additional Canadian locations.
- Flexible hybrid work requiring at least 50% of each quarter in the office or field.
- Visa and work permit sponsorship is available.
