Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support AI/ML solutions in cloud environments, including data pipelines, model hosting, and application-service integration.
- Advise Government IT teams and senior stakeholders on scalable single-cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
- Develop multi-cloud architecture methodologies, frameworks, service-provider guidance, and enterprise architecture artifacts.
- Optimize cloud-service cost, consumption, and performance across cloud service providers.
- Support data models, data dictionaries, data maps, data governance, data strategy, and data architecture activities.
- Translate mission requirements into end-to-end designs involving multiple interfaces and data repositories.
- Review proposed scope changes and assess their impact on future architectures.
- Provide cloud-agnostic technical guidance and customer advisory services.
Requirements
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph are required.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of experience, master’s degree with at least 7 years, or PhD/JD with at least 4 years is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud or hybrid-cloud environments is required, with additional experience permitted in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud services, cloud solution deployment, large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, or enterprise data governance is required.
- Experience supporting or deploying AI/ML workloads and integrating AI/ML services within cloud architectures is required.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, or OCI and knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services is required.
- Required certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or relevant cloud certifications in areas such as DevOps, Security, or ML.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure, OCI, GCP, or IBM certifications; cloud-agnostic architecture experience; Linux and Windows experience; SQL and database experience; cloud migration; debugging; CI/CD and infrastructure automation; and strong communication and collaboration skills.
