Responsibilities
- Build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and maintain services for data collection and real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to design and build data products.
- Work with the DevOps team to scale and optimize infrastructure.
- Participate in architecture discussions, influence the roadmap, and own new projects.
- Mentor developers through knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for production issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly desired.
- At least 2 years of experience or fluency in Scala or Java.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing distributed, low-latency, scalable cloud solutions.
- Experience with cloud services at scale, especially AWS, and Terraform.
- Long-term experience with distributed data processing at scale.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle from inception through production and monitoring.
- Experience with ZIO, Akka, Play Framework, and container-based solutions is preferred.
- Advertising attribution domain experience is preferred.
- Experience with agile software development processes and strong interpersonal and communication skills are desired.
