Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and debug software using Python or comparable programming languages.
- Apply programming fundamentals including data structures, control flow, functions, and debugging.
- Use Git for version control.
- Contribute to software development, system integration, and AI-enabled automation projects supporting Navy operations.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cybersecurity specialists on client work.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly in a mission-focused environment.
Requirements
- Be scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, information systems, or a STEM field by Summer 2027.
- Have coding experience in professional, personal, or academic environments.
- Have experience with fundamental programming concepts and Git.
- Be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in software development, data science, cybersecurity, REST APIs, web services, system integration, AI/ML frameworks, LLM tools, cloud platforms, Docker, networking, federal IT systems, and collaborative software development practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
