Base Salary
$161k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain systems for efficient access to growing data sets.
- Extend and improve services for internal data search and image processing.
- Operate and tune Elasticsearch indexing for core data sets.
- Take full service ownership by measuring performance and responding to incidents.
- Shape technical approach and system design for high-impact projects.
- Mentor team engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and architectural direction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 6+ years of Go development experience for production backend services.
- 6+ years of Python development experience for customer-facing APIs.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools in engineering workflow.
- Experience monitoring and operating highly scalable cloud-native software.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational datastores.
- Ability to lead system design conversations for distributed backend services.
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
