Responsibilities
- Partner with debug tools leads and engineering users to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
- Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered solutions for semiconductor debugging, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.
- Develop agentic workflows, copilots, MCP integrations, RAG systems, AI assistants, and automation frameworks.
- Build proof-of-concepts and production-ready applications using LLMs, AI agents, APIs, and integrations.
- Analyze logs, reports, register data, validation results, and other engineering artifacts.
- Enable shift-left defect detection, readiness validation, and automated diagnostics.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, validation, silicon, and SoC teams to integrate solutions into engineering workflows.
- Measure productivity, cycle-time, and readiness improvements and evangelize AI-first engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of software engineering, automation, validation, or semiconductor engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience developing enterprise applications, automation solutions, or engineering tools.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, MCP, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
- Experience building APIs, automation workflows, and integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience with semiconductor debugging, silicon validation, bring-up, DFT, scan, JTAG, registers, validation logs, SoC architecture, firmware validation, or hardware/software co-debug.
- Preferred familiarity with GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, developer productivity tools, data engineering, knowledge graphs, and search technologies.
- Experience deploying AI solutions in production environments is preferred.
