Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines supporting 5G NF application deployment from lab environments through production.
  • Develop AI-assisted pipeline automation using LLMs to analyze build failures, deployment issues, pipeline health, and operational telemetry.
  • Build MCP servers and AI-callable integrations exposing Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, repository, and deployment capabilities through controlled interfaces.
  • Create self-healing workflows that detect failure patterns, perform approved remediation, and provide diagnostics, confidence levels, and escalation paths.
  • Develop reusable YAML templates, pipeline components, scripts, and automation libraries for standardized delivery across teams and environments.
  • Integrate pipelines with source control, artifact repositories, approvals, environment gates, testing frameworks, security checks, and release governance.
  • Support Kubernetes deployments by troubleshooting failures, configuration issues, container readiness, service health, and environment-specific behavior.
  • Implement CI/CD observability through metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, failure trend analysis, and feedback loops.
  • Apply secure DevOps practices for secrets, access control, policy enforcement, code review, vulnerability checks, and auditable releases.
  • Create AI-assisted root-cause analysis and knowledge workflows for engineering teams.
  • Lead technical discussions, working sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on training for client teams.
  • Document architecture, procedures, automation patterns, troubleshooting guidance, and standards.
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps, GenAI, LLM, and MCP capabilities and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Expert Linux experience with strong Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Experience automating manual processes with scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code such as Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience containerizing, deploying, debugging, and maintaining applications.
  • Expertise building Azure DevOps Pipelines from the ground up using YAML, including reusable templates, gates, approvals, and promotion workflows.
  • Proficiency using az cli commands in Azure DevOps Pipelines and understanding Azure DevOps Repos, branching, tagging, environment management, and agents.
  • Strong use of JSON and YAML across scripts, Ansible playbooks, and pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure Container Registry, Azure Resource Manager, endpoints, service principals, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Enterprise Vault, and Azure Operator Service Manager.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience, preferably AKS, including workload deployment, debugging, kubectl troubleshooting, Helm, rollout strategies, namespaces, RBAC, and service accounts.
  • Experience integrating Azure DevOps Pipelines with Kubernetes deployments and diagnosing CrashLoopBackOff, image pull, resource quota, and health probe failures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Azure OpenAI or equivalent LLM APIs into automation workflows and designing prompts for analysis and root-cause diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with tool or function calling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agent-based AI patterns, and custom MCP servers.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps REST APIs and building AI-assisted workflows for pipeline metrics, flaky-test detection, log analysis, self-healing, and remediation.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and collaborate across platform, security, and application engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is listed as a preferred qualification.
  • Preferred experience includes GitHub Copilot extensibility, custom AI agents, vector databases, Azure AI Search, AI-powered DevOps dashboards, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

Benefits

  • Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
