Responsibilities
- Lead complex penetration tests and security assessments across applications, infrastructure, and networks.
- Develop security test plans, methodologies, reporting standards, and end-to-end security testing programs.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed security testing into SDLC processes.
- Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation actions.
- Validate remediation effectiveness through retesting and risk verification.
- Review system architectures and identify design-level security weaknesses.
- Mentor junior security engineers and review assessment deliverables.
- Track emerging cyber threats and improve the organization's security posture.
Requirements
- 8–14 years of experience, including at least 8 years performing application, network, and infrastructure penetration testing.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with vulnerability assessments using Nessus, Burp Suite, Qualys, and Nmap.
- Experience with security incident response, root cause analysis, threat modeling, secure design reviews, cyber threat intelligence, attack surface analysis, and risk analysis.
- Experience with compliance risk management aligned to ISO 27001, NIST, and regulatory standards.
- CISSP, CISA, GSEC, Security+, or GCIH certification.
- Experience mentoring security engineers and leading assessment engagements.
- Optional experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security assessments; red team exercises; adversary simulation; DevSecOps; CI/CD security testing; SAST/DAST tools; and Python or PowerShell scripting.
