Responsibilities
- Develop and operate the central API management platform within SBB IT.
- Take responsibility for the operation and continued development of a diverse application landscape.
- Implement API management and integration solutions using synchronous and asynchronous interface architectures.
- Apply API security concepts covering authentication, authorization, and modern security standards.
- Develop with Java and Spring Boot and implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, container platforms, and end-to-end test automation.
Requirements
- Completed higher education in computer science, such as ETH, FH, HF, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in API management, integration solutions, or platform engineering.
- Comprehensive knowledge of API management platforms and API gateway technologies.
- Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous interface architectures.
- Deep knowledge of API security, particularly authentication, authorization, and modern security standards.
- Very strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, container platforms, and end-to-end test automation.
- Very good German skills at C1/C2 level and good English skills.
