Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies based on business requirements and solution designs.
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines and manage test execution and reporting using Zephyr Scale and Azure DevOps.
- Use physical laboratory equipment to validate real-life scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to investigate software issues and improve QA processes and product reliability.
- Participate in Agile development processes, promote software testing best practices, develop Power Systems domain knowledge, mentor team members, and advocate for quality assurance principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven experience with test automation using Python.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and testing tools.
- Knowledge of Power Systems is advantageous, and willingness to develop expertise in the domain is required.
- Knowledge of OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, and IEEE C37.118 is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with BDD testing approaches and Gherkin notation is a plus.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with performance, security, or compliance testing is advantageous.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and make decisions that positively affect product quality.
