Responsibilities
- Develop software for new product initiatives and features.
- Participate in architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Improve the customer experience and codebase.
- Build high-quality software components, documentation, unit tests, scripts, and test harnesses.
- Write clean, performant, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable applications.
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
- Excellent Java development and debugging skills.
- Experience with frontend technologies or frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Strong data architecture and object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with distributed storage and SQL or NoSQL database systems.
- Experience building highly scalable real-time services.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Interest in human biology and genetics is preferred.
