Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a platform that ensures dataset quality and correctness and alerts stakeholders to critical production issues.
- Maintain shared libraries used across the data function and support rapid onboarding of new datasets.
- Design, build, and document integrations with other teams’ processes to surface data-pipeline issues.
- Support users in best-practice use of the tooling, migrate code to current standards, and investigate, debug, and resolve platform issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, quants, traders, and business stakeholders on a mission-critical data platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Previous software engineering experience; exposure to financial data is a plus.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and proficiency in Python or Rust.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to front-end development for custom monitoring dashboards is a plus.
- Knowledge of data-quality frameworks such as Soda or Great Expectations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously within a global team.
