Responsibilities
- Design and deliver agent-based artificial intelligence solutions from prototype through production deployment.
- Implement human-in-the-loop workflows, fallback behaviors, and tool-calling patterns.
- Evaluate language models by defining metrics, running experiments, and documenting performance and trade-offs.
- Build reusable AI tools and integrations connecting models and agents to enterprise data and services.
- Develop machine learning pipelines for data preparation, model training or adaptation, validation, and repeatable deployment.
- Apply retrieval-augmented generation and deep learning techniques to use cases including semantic search, entity resolution, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Own small-to-medium engineering deliverables through requirements clarification, design, implementation, testing, release, and post-release support.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, business, and stakeholder partners to establish baselines and translate findings into improvements.
- Incorporate governance, risk, control, and responsible-use considerations into machine learning solution delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of industry experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a machine learning engineer, data engineer, or data scientist.
- Experience applying machine learning methods including regression, classification, clustering, time series modeling, causal inference, or mathematical optimization.
- Hands-on experience building agent-based solutions, tool integrations, agent frameworks such as Google ADK or LangGraph, and agent-to-agent communication patterns.
- Proficiency in Python for production-oriented development, including testing, packaging, and deployment.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with large datasets; PySpark experience is acceptable where relevant.
- Working knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch and modern natural language processing techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience partnering across engineering and business functions.
- Preferred experience includes enterprise multi-agent solutions, leading machine learning or data science workstreams, large-scale ML systems, cloud ML services, AWS machine learning services, GPU optimization, transformer-based embedding models such as BERT or Sentence-BERT, and prompt optimization.
