Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship features across the backend stack, from data infrastructure to product endpoints.
- Build extensible and robust business logic for processing health data.
- Prototype, productionize, and run experiments to improve AI/ML model accuracy, speed, and cost.
- Establish best practices for scalability, security, testing, and ML operations, including model versioning, monitoring, and alerting.
- Continuously improve the engineering process and culture.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience designing, building, and running large-scale backend systems, including deploying and scaling AI/ML systems in production.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and infrastructure such as training pipelines, experiment tracking, feature stores, model monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
- Expertise in TypeScript or Python.
- Strong intuition for algorithms and experience working with data.
- Strong mathematics and statistics skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas, take action, ask for help, and support others.
- Interest in improving people’s health and fitness.
