Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship features across the entire backend stack, from data infrastructure to product endpoints.
- Build extensible and robust business logic for processing health data.
- Prototype, productionize, and run experiments to improve AI/ML model accuracy, speed, and cost.
- Establish best practices for scalability, security, testing, and ML operations.
- Continuously iterate on the engineering process and culture.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, building, and running large-scale backend systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying and scaling AI/ML systems in production environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and infrastructure.
- Expertise coding in Typescript or Python.
- Strong intuition for algorithms and working with data.
- Brilliant at math and statistics.
- Obsessive with your craft and great at communicating ideas.
- Strong bias for action and know when to ask for help.
