Responsibilities

Create scalable and actionable detection logic for emerging threats in Python.
Develop new solutions to hunt, detect, and deal with threats.
Operate and expand our in-house built security event monitoring tool.
Automate tasks to save time and enhance efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tools, techniques, and procedures used by attackers.
Execute state-of-the-art initiatives to keep the security domain ahead of the market.
Build and own security monitoring tooling in Adyen.
Participate in the Security On Call group rotation.

6+ years of experience in security domains such as Intrusion Detection, Detection Engineering, Threat Detection, or Incident Response.
Proficiency in Operating System security (Linux/MacOS), Container Security, Network security, or SaaS/IaaS Security.
Understanding of security detection and monitoring beyond specific SIEM tools or vendors.
Solid experience with Python and ability to translate complex detection logic into advanced code.
A builder mindset with a focus on scripting, automation, and project scoping.
A pragmatic and humane approach to security, emphasizing communication.
Experience pioneering solutions in uncharted territory.
