Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall architecture and system design for scalable software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Design and document system diagrams, data flows, and API structures.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, security, maintainability, and scalability.
- Oversee microservices, APIs, and third-party system integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams on deployment and operational reliability.
- Establish coding and architecture standards and mitigate technical risks.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance audits.
Requirements
- Around 6+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Strong expertise in system design, cloud computing, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native architectures.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET, plus experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and data pipelines.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, API design, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, identity management, and encryption techniques.
- Ability to balance scalability, cost, and complexity when evaluating architecture decisions.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
