Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for the European region, including incident management, client onboarding, and customer request handling.
- Maintain and improve platform reliability, SLOs, and SLIs while reducing mean time to restore service and resolve requests.
- Design, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
- Implement self-observability and self-healing capabilities and perform platform changes, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Improve platform cost visibility and optimize infrastructure costs.
- Design, implement, and drive adoption of self-service capabilities for platform users.
- Automate onboarding of new projects and plants into the platform.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on roadmap input, product increments, sprint alignment, and selected backlog development.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, including running and investigating workloads in Kubernetes environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Familiarity with GitHub.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure provisioning, with Azure preferred.
- Knowledge of operating systems, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
- Observability ecosystem experience with tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong planning, organizational, troubleshooting, communication, incident-management, and continuous-learning skills.
