Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Python, Django, React, and TypeScript.
- Design, develop, and maintain containerized cloud solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Services.
- Apply security practices including role-based access controls and encryption.
- Manage code changes with GitLab and contribute as part of a Scrum team.
- Develop and maintain complex data-intensive applications across a geographically distributed software team.
- Evaluate system architecture, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps engineers.
- Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
- Write and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Implement unit, integration, and functional tests.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience programming and maintaining full-stack application solutions.
- Strong proficiency with Python, Django, FastAPI, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency with at least one cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters and deployments with Helm is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Postgres, Redis, or other relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Experience with APIs, events, and file-share data delivery.
- Experience implementing object-oriented, SOLID, microservices, event-streaming, and messaging architectural principles.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise applications is preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
