Backend Software Engineer - IT Pipelines Innovations
Mercado LibreResponsibilities
- Design and develop robust, maintainable, observable, secure, and scalable backend solutions.
- Build and evolve APIs, automations, and components that improve the developer experience.
- Analyze processes and data to identify improvements, reduce manual tasks, and propose sustainable software solutions.
- Participate in technical incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for distributed systems.
- Explore and propose generative AI-based solutions for real business problems.
Requirements
- Solid backend development experience with Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Advanced knowledge of software design and architecture, including microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience using infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
- Practical application of software engineering standards and best practices to build highly available solutions.
- Knowledge of generative AI, including prompting and creating or administering plugins.
