Base Salary
$165k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate a distributed telemetry platform for data processing at petabyte scale.
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
- Take full ownership of the complete software and hardware stack.
- Analyze business problems and apply first principles thinking to find efficient solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or a related field, or 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development or software engineering.
- Programming experience in C#, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience designing and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Working knowledge of Linux, version control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring systems.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
