Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Use customer signals, product judgment, and data to inform technical decisions for high-value senders.
- Lead technical design and architecture for complex, ambiguous, and greenfield systems.
- Build and operate reliable, observable, scalable web, mobile, and backend systems meeting strict availability and latency SLOs.
- Partner with product, design, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver solutions for a global customer base.
- Mentor teammates, lead technical discussions, provide code reviews, and advocate for coding, testing, and system-design best practices.
- Use AI tools in software development, including authoring agents and drafting, iterating on, prototyping, and validating technical concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience building and operating systems end to end.
- Experience building customer-facing experiences at product scale with TypeScript, React, and native mobile development for iOS or Android or with React Native.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python with a record of delivering production-quality code.
- Experience designing and building distributed, large-scale systems with service-oriented or microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and familiarity with managed services.
- Experience using AI tools in a software development workflow, including Claude Code, is required.
- FinTech, payments, or regulated-industry experience is a bonus.
