Responsibilities
- Improve zero-touch provisioning using Kotlin, Spring Boot, Linux, and BLE/Bluetooth Mesh.
- Enhance monitoring capabilities with BLE/Bluetooth Mesh, Grafana, Prometheus, OTel Collector, and Spring Boot.
- Build a proof of concept for the new BOS Architecture based on defined functional requirements.
- Build and configure Linux-based IoT and edge systems for smart homes and smart buildings.
- Develop device-to-cloud communication pipelines for telemetry, control, and automation.
- Implement device lifecycle management, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and OTA updates.
- Build internal tools and automation for IoT fleet operations and diagnostics.
- Ensure reliability, security, and observability across edge and cloud layers.
- Collaborate with Product, Hardware, Platform, and Software teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems in production environments.
- Knowledge of BLE, LoRaWAN, and WMBus connectivity technologies.
- Hands-on experience with MQTT and embedded systems or edge computing.
- Solid understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in Kotlin.
- Experience with containers, cloud platforms, PostgreSQL, Redis, message brokers, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with telemetry, streaming data, and time-series data.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Nice-to-have experience with embedded Linux, OTA systems, secure device identity, and observability and monitoring across edge and cloud systems.
