Base Salary
$80k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to build and deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Build and maintain dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Design, build, and integrate backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve the system design over time.
- Apply appropriate tools, services, and architectural patterns to build scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with teammates to continuously improve code quality.
- Pair program with team members to solve problems and share knowledge.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor and maintain application performance using metrics, logging, and observability tools.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and help improve development and deployment workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve the codebase, tooling, and team efficiency through automation and best practices.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience building scalable front-end applications and reusable UI components.
- Experience building backend services and APIs using Node.js, including REST and/or GraphQL.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application development.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Experience writing automated tests using tools such as Jest and Playwright.
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously learning and sharing knowledge.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform.
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as New Relic or AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience contributing to SDLC and team process improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug issues and deliver effective solutions across the stack.
