Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML models and ensembles for generative AI, classification, prediction, computer vision, NLP, and reinforcement learning applications.
- Preprocess, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data for model training and testing.
- Design and execute experiments to verify model performance and system soundness.
- Deploy and maintain AI/ML models in cloud-based environments with attention to scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, SQL configurations, and performance metrics supporting AI/ML applications.
- Document and communicate methods and findings through publications, reports, visualizations, presentations, briefings, and GitHub repositories.
- Provide technical education and AI/ML subject matter expertise to staff and Sponsor initiatives.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Professional experience using Python or R for AI/ML development is required.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras is required.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub is required.
- Experience with major cloud computing services and cloud-based AI/ML development and deployment is required.
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models, including model tuning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarking, is required.
- Preferred qualifications include model explainability and interpretability, Sponsor enterprise services and security controls, data management practices, Flask, Tableau, and verification and validation test benches.
