Responsibilities
- Develop and support new software functionality, improvements, bug fixes, and integrations for custom in-house software.
- Participate in software design, development, testing, and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Monitor tickets for high-priority items and assist with support issue escalations.
- Use a source-code management system to check out and check in code.
- Collaborate with team members to distribute tasks and with business analysts and end users to translate business processes into software designs.
- Maintain and update documentation and identify process improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in software development or Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and the .NET Platform, especially C#.
- Understanding of relational database concepts, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of website concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new programs.
- Strong communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, adaptability, initiative, attention to detail, and interest in learning and solving business problems.
