Responsibilities
- Design scalable Databricks-based data and analytics solutions.
- Provide architecture guidance and hands-on technical leadership.
- Support production deployments, performance optimization, and platform scalability.
- Advise delivery teams on cloud, DevOps, MLOps, security, and data governance best practices.
Requirements
- Require 10+ years of consulting experience, including 7+ years in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
- Require delivery of at least 6 to 8+ Databricks projects with hands-on development experience.
- Require a completed Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification and required classes.
- Require strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark runtime internals, distributed computing, and Python.
- Require working knowledge of at least two of AWS, Azure, or GCP, with deep expertise in at least one.
- Require current knowledge of Databricks products and platform features, performance and scalability optimization, production deployment practices, and MLOps.
- Prefer additional Databricks certifications, generative AI knowledge, ETL/ELT and lakehouse architecture experience, streaming architecture experience, security and data governance knowledge, DevOps tools experience, and Delta Lake experience.
