Base Salary
$114k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-assurance software components using C++.
- Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to software quality and development-practice improvements.
- Support team testing efforts and write unit and integration tests.
- Implement radar platform functionality for system control and signal-processing needs.
- Collaborate with radar, signal-processing, hardware, and software engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent military or industry experience.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, integrating, and testing embedded software in real-time operating environments.
- Experience building embedded Linux-based software applications in C++.
- Knowledge of embedded debugging and testing with debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or multimeters.
- Knowledge of Python or another scripting language for testing automation.
- Experience with Git-based version control, pull requests, code reviews, branching, and merge-conflict resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across hardware and software teams.
- Preferred qualifications include secure software development, Yocto, Bitbake, Linux administration, embedded RF systems, communication protocols, systems-level programming, and mentoring or leading small technical efforts.
