Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a product surface from customer conversations and product design through API design, implementation, and rollout.
- Design and ship granular, flexible, low-latency alerting and analytics that meet contractual latency SLAs.
- Build real-time entitlement and spend-control primitives, including credit balances, allocations, usage-percentage alerts, and rate limits.
- Shape the roadmap, foundational primitives, and interfaces used by other teams.
- Collaborate with product management, design, sales, and customer success, and work directly with enterprise and AI customers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Track record of owning products or systems end to end.
- Strong product instincts and genuine customer empathy, with comfort working close to customers and business impact.
- Experience designing APIs and data models that other teams and customers depend on.
- Ability to reason about real-time and low-latency tradeoffs.
- Strong attention to detail across API design, product UX, and implementation.
- Specific experience with Orb’s listed technology stack is not required.
