Base Salary
$157k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time software components for RF sensor signal-processing systems.
- Develop and optimize CUDA-based GPU-accelerated signal-processing algorithms.
- Translate MATLAB and Python algorithm specifications into optimized C/C++ implementations.
- Architect software components compliant with open architecture standards.
- Integrate and optimize software for multicore CPUs and GPUs under strict latency requirements.
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and performance benchmarks.
- Document software designs, APIs, implementation details, and technical reports.
- Contribute to program briefings, customer presentations, proposal development, and peer reviews.
- Collaborate with algorithm developers, systems engineers, RF hardware engineers, and integration teams.
- Travel approximately 20% for integration events, customer meetings, and field demonstrations.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and retain a Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. government.
- PhD plus 2 years, MS plus 5 years, or BS plus 7 years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with GPU programming and optimization using CUDA.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for high-performance, real-time applications.
- Experience with Linux and embedded-systems development.
- Experience with real-time signal processing, multithreaded programming, thread safety, and synchronization.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Preferred: active Secret or Top Secret clearance, MATLAB and/or Python proficiency, open architecture experience, RF signal-processing knowledge, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, proposal development, and technical writing experience.
