Base Salary
$174k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with principal investigators, software engineers, and systems engineers to plan, model, develop, test, and document large-scale software and hardware systems.
- Integrate MBSE artifacts and processes with software development pipelines, including code generation, test generation, and large-scale code analysis.
- Perform requirements extraction, management, and analysis for RF sensor signal-processing or equivalent systems.
- Document system designs, software designs, APIs, implementation details, and technical reports.
- Conduct peer reviews and recommend next steps for technical work.
- Support approximately 5% travel for integration events, customer meetings, and field demonstrations.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and retain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. government for the clearance.
- PhD plus 2 years, MS plus 5 years, or BS plus 7 years in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering to medium- and large-scale agile software development programs.
- Strong proficiency with CAMEO or other MBSE tools.
- Experience working with professional software development teams and excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an active security clearance, experience developing products or toolkits integrated by third parties, automated CAMEO integration with development processes, signal-processing experience, open architecture experience, Git experience, CAMEO plugin development, RF sensor knowledge, CI/CD and DevOps familiarity, and proposal development experience.
