Responsibilities
- Build and evolve horizontal infrastructure and tooling underpinning Waymo’s commercialization systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop systems and processes as business needs evolve.
- Scale systems to support commercial expansion and increasing complexity.
- Solve problems including world simulation for regression testing and evaluation of software services managing autonomous vehicle fleets.
- Collaborate across mobile applications, cloud backends, the Waymo Driver, operations, product, legal, partnerships, policy, and privacy functions.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of backend or infrastructure experience.
