Base Salary
$129k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to software integration and verification strategy across software components and subsystems.
- Create subsystem-level test and integration design proposals, evaluate risks, and collaborate with architects and technical leaders.
- Develop automated test suites, test environments, automation infrastructure, and tools supporting integration and testing.
- Investigate and diagnose software integration issues and support delivery of integrated, verified software packages.
- Collaborate with program leads and cross-functional stakeholders to plan integrations, communicate risks, and track progress.
- Monitor development progress, escalate risks, and recommend improvements to integration and verification processes.
- Mentor engineers on test automation and integration skills and share relevant performance feedback with functional managers.
Requirements
- Minimum experience is typically 5 years with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field such as Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise with testing frameworks such as MSTest, Mocha, Jest, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Experience with multiple programming languages or environments, including C#/.NET, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience developing automation tools and test infrastructure with Bash and Linux environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, software-hardware integration, and complex hardware systems is a plus.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or equivalent tools is required.
- Experience with software quality practices including continuous integration, static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing is required.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux software development, or AI tools such as Copilot or Claude is a plus.
- Knowledge of hardware or firmware development, medical software, healthcare regulations, cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, NGS, or bioinformatics is desirable.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, cross-functional collaboration, presentation, and data-driven decision-making skills are required.
