Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously improve the WSO2 API Manager platform running on Amazon EKS across multiple environments.
- Maintain and enhance Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and Terragrunt configurations for platform infrastructure.
- Manage ArgoCD applications, troubleshoot GitOps synchronization issues, and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor platform health with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, respond to alerts, and improve observability.
- Support AWS Landing Zone migration, including gateway traffic routing, firewall policy automation, DNS, and Route 53 management.
- Contribute to AWS cloud security and integrate AI/ML backends and MCP servers through the API Management platform.
- Develop operational scripts and tools using Bash and Python.
- Collaborate with developers and solution architects to onboard APIs and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and basic understanding of Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, and Ingress.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or Helm.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI, and understanding of GitOps workflows; ArgoCD experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of AWS services including EKS, RDS, ALB/NLB, Route 53, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python and willingness to learn API management concepts.
- Curiosity about AI technologies, LLM-powered APIs, and agent frameworks.
- Structured problem-solving approach, attention to detail, troubleshooting curiosity, good communication skills, and ability to collaborate in an international team.
