Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and optimise the AWS environment, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and secure network topology.
- Deploy and scale API Gateway integrations and serverless functions for reliable service delivery.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and batch-processing workflows.
- Own and improve GitHub Actions workflows to automate deployments and reduce manual release work.
- Use Datadog for system observability, monitoring, logging, and automated alerting.
- Manage IAM policies, SSM Parameter Store, and Secrets Manager in a security-first architecture.
- Identify and automate operational bottlenecks while collaborating with Architecture, Software Engineering, and Data teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Cloud or DevOps role within an AWS environment.
- Proven ability to design and implement complex cloud architectures.
- Proficiency with CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and strong knowledge of VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing.
- Strong experience with IAM, SSM Parameter Store, Secrets Manager, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and managing batch-processing jobs at scale.
- Expert-level experience with GitHub Actions, deployment automation, and deployment security practices.
- Experience with CodeArtifact, Datadog, Checkov, and Trivy.
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock for generative AI infrastructure.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, and AWS Solutions Architect certification.
