Responsibilities
- Design, enhance, and implement reusable continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions.
- Monitor production and test environments by building dashboards and alerting rule sets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to automate requirements early in the software lifecycle.
- Share DevOps knowledge and solutions to improve efficiency and standardization.
- Troubleshoot dashboards, logs, distributed systems, and network-related issues and implement preventative solutions.
- Write and run deployment automation using Helm, Ansible, and other tools.
- Integrate platforms and technologies such as Kafka and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience, or 5 years for the senior level, with Python and shell scripting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience, or 5 years for the senior level, with Linux.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience, or 5 years for the senior level, with containerization using Docker or Podman.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience, or 5 years for the senior level, with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
- Experience applying DevOps practices and working in an operational environment.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Excellent understanding of software delivery practices, Git branching models, and configuration management.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Kafka is desirable.
- Experience with Xcode, Swift, and App Store Connect is highly desirable.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment is desirable.
- Practical experience with feature toggling, no-downtime deployments, and blue-green deployments is desirable.
- Knowledge of security best practices within the software development lifecycle is desirable.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and build tools such as Maven or Gradle is desirable.
