Base Salary
$127k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute and accelerate the automation roadmap for finance processes.
- Transform the development approach towards CLI-driven and agentic development.
- Build automations and AI agents for various finance functions.
- Implement close-management tooling and ensure system reliability.
- Configure and extend finance systems like NetSuite and Zip.
- Collaborate with accountants to translate workflows into automation.
- Make informed build-or-buy decisions regarding technology solutions.
- Conduct design reviews and promote operational best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance or related fields.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes without being a career accountant.
- Proven track record of automating manual processes.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and systems.
- Experience with AI and automation technologies.
- Hands-on experience with finance automation tools and integrations is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor.
