Responsibilities
- Develop backend or frontend components for the Data Product FAIRway tool.
- Participate in planning, executing, and reviewing sprint items using agile methodology.
- Improve the user experience of the FAIRway tool.
- Support integration of additional data product platforms, including platforms for SAP-based data products.
- Work with BASF’s main data sources and contribute to the expansion of its data ecosystem.
- Complete four approximately five-month rotations and potentially rotate through another Global Digital Hub.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate or up to two years of relevant work experience.
- Basic programming skills in Python.
- Understanding of modern frontend development concepts and frameworks such as Vue.js.
- Basic knowledge of API integration and web services.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and software architecture concepts.
- Strong learning agility, positive attitude, growth mindset, communication skills in English, and passion for software engineering and continuous learning.
