Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design, develop, deploy, and support scalable web applications and software solutions.
- Build enterprise-grade GenAI features and modular Python AI services that integrate LLM APIs with full-stack applications.
- Design RAG pipelines involving chunking, embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, and context management.
- Build agentic workflows with tool calling, orchestration, state, memory, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and failure fallbacks.
- Integrate AI inference into React or Angular applications with streaming, citations, edit-and-retry, and graceful-degradation UX patterns.
- Define AI evaluation criteria, build test sets, and implement logging, tracing, monitoring, and cost/token controls.
- Apply security and Responsible AI practices including prompt-injection defense, PII and confidentiality handling, output validation, and audit trails.
- Provide technical recommendations, gather and synthesize stakeholder input, support consulting engagements, and contribute to delivery approaches.
- Guide junior team members, perform quality checks, contribute to team content and intellectual property, and provide technical training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science engineering/technology or equivalent.
- At least 2–4 years of end-to-end web application or tool development experience in a commercial services or consulting environment.
- Experience building high-performance web applications with Python, Django or Flask or FastAPI, React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, object-oriented programming, design patterns, responsive UI development, and unit testing frameworks.
- Experience integrating user interfaces with APIs and building production applications on top of LLM APIs, preferably Azure OpenAI.
- Experience with an agent or orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, DSPy, or an equivalent in-house framework.
- Experience implementing tool or function calling, structured output, schema validation, error handling, and AI output evaluation.
- Working knowledge of Unix command-line tools, Git, CI/CD and DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure architecture, Azure, GCP, Oracle, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices, Docker, AI workload deployment, Model Context Protocol, multi-agent systems, MongoDB, charting libraries, wireframing, and React Native or Ionic is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and technical advisory skills.
- Open-source contributions, technical blogs, forums, or related contributions are valued.
