Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and operate enterprise cloud data platform services.
- Curate and manage data platform capabilities for application, analytics, and data teams.
- Define platform standards, governance, security controls, and operational best practices.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD, and platform automation.
- Architect cloud networking, authentication, authorization, and integration patterns.
- Ensure platform reliability, resilience, observability, and operational excellence.
- Drive platform adoption, self-service capabilities, and developer experience.
Requirements
- Strong cloud platform engineering background, preferably on Azure.
- Experience managing and operating data platform technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and platform automation.
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, policy enforcement, network architecture, and connectivity design.
- Experience with platform monitoring, reliability, and operational support models.
- Data lake or lakehouse architecture exposure is a plus.
- Python or scripting experience for platform automation is a plus.
- Experience supporting AI/ML and analytics platforms is a plus.
- Financial services domain experience is a plus.
